I. Introduction:
Pneumatic V-shaped ball valves are classified into soft-sealed and hard-sealed types according to sealing performance; according to the regulation method, they are divided into regulating type and shut-off type. The shut-off type is further divided into single-acting and double-acting types according to the action form, while the regulating type is double-acting. The unique advantage of the single-acting type is that once the power source fails, the ball valve will automatically be in the closed or open position as required by the control system. This valve features a specially shaped fixed V-notch sphere and an adjustable metal seat structure. When the valve is closed, the V-notch forms a wedge-shaped shearing action with the seat, which can prevent the jamming caused by dirt between the sphere and the seat, and has a self-cleaning function. It is especially suitable for media containing fiber slurry, sewage and viscous particles. Equipped with a valve positioner, it can achieve continuous regulation, and has the advantages of small flow resistance and wide regulation range, making it a high-quality regulating valve with a wide range of applications.
II. Features:
1. The ball valve is composed of a V-shaped valve body, a pneumatic actuator and other accessories. It is an advanced control valve with a right-angle rotary structure.
2. It has excellent regulation characteristics: the V-shaped valve has an inherent flow characteristic approximately equal to percentage and an adjustable ratio up to 300:1. Therefore, the V-shaped valve can provide precise control over a wide range of changes.
3. Maximum flow volume: Due to its streamlined shape and full right-angle rotary control, the maximum volume is particularly high, the flow capacity is particularly large, and the flow resistance is small. Therefore, a smaller and more economical valve size can be used.
4. The V-shaped valve adopts a double-bearing structure, which has high mechanical stability and low starting torque, ensuring that the valve has excellent sensitivity and response speed.
5. Maximum reliability (safety): The valve body is an integrated structure, which is sturdy and durable. The operation is not affected by pipeline pressure, and it can prevent valve body leakage.
6. Superior sealing performance of the metal seat: The V-shaped valve adopts a movable metal seat, which has a self-compensation function, superior sealing performance and ultra-long service life. In terms of flow direction, the leakage amount is ≤10⁻⁶×rated flow coefficient.
7. Superb shearing ability: The V-shaped valve adopts a metal hard-sealed structure. During the rotation process of the V-shaped core and the metal seat, the V-shaped notch and the seat generate a strong shearing force to cut off impurities such as fibers, and also have a self-cleaning function to avoid the jamming of the valve.
8. The ball valve has a compact structure, small and light size, convenient installation and simple maintenance.
9. The pneumatic actuator adopts a piston cylinder and a crank arm conversion structure, which has a large output torque and a small volume. The actuator adopts a fully sealed waterproof design with a high protection level. The cylinder body uses an imported mirror cylinder, which is oil-free lubrication, has a small friction coefficient and corrosion resistance, and has super durability and reliability. All transmission bearings use boundary self-lubricating bearings with oil-free lubrication, ensuring that the transmission shaft will not wear.
